Information Technology Management

The Information Technology Management Unit (ITMU) continued to support the day-to-day operations of various CAD divisions through effective implementation of new Information Technology (IT) initiatives and the e-Government strategy. During the year, the following major IT projects were completed for the betterment of IT service and support:

(i) In September 2017, ITMU passed the re-certification audit conducted by an internationally recognised certification body and successfully upgraded the quality management certificate to the latest version (ISO 9001:2015).

(ii) In May 2017, ITMU upgraded the Departmental Portal to Open Source Departmental Portal, which enables CAD users to securely access the Government's internal electronics services.
