Experience Sharing with Overseas Air Navigation Service Providers

Delegates of the Civil Aviation Authority of Mongolia visited CAD on 6-7 December 2017 to draw on CAD's experience in implementing Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) system to better prepare for their implementation in Mongolia. Subject matter experts from AESD, ATMD and FSAD shared with delegates of the Civil Aviation Authority of Mongolia the phased implementation approach adopted by CAD in achieving full integration of the system into ATMS for the provision of safe and efficient ATC services.

In December 2017, delegates from the Civil Aviation Authority of Mongolia visited CAD to draw on experience in ADS-B system implementation.

CAD initiated to establish the AutoTrac III (AT3) International Users Group and hosted the first meeting on 19-20 September 2017 to share operational and technical experience on the use of AT3, as well as to enhance system operations and map out future system implementation. The two-day meeting was strongly supported by AT3 users in the world and attended by representatives of the Airports Authority of India, Dubai Air Navigation Services and Federal Aviation Administration of United States.

In September 2017, CAD hosted the first meeting of the AT3 International Users Group to share operational and technical experience on the use of AT3.
