About Us

Deploying at assistant professional level on planning, implementing, commissioning and operating advanced electronic equipment including surveillance systems, communications equipment, navigational aids and computer systems with a view to gaining responsible experience in electronics / information engineering fields for the purpose of obtaining Corporate Membership of the appropriate Institution.

(Note: Post holders may be required to work irregular hours.)

Candidates should have -

• satisfied in full the academic requirements for Corporate Membership of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE)(Electronics or Information Discipline), or equivalent;
• completed the formal training pre-approved by the HKIE, or equivalent, or have at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience in the field of Electronics Engineering or Information Engineering at a professional level;
• a pass result in the Aptitude Test in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE);
• met the language proficiency requirements of Level 1 results in the two language papers (Use of Chinese and Use of English) in the CRE, or equivalent; and
• a pass result in the Basic Law and National Security Law test.

Master Pay Scale Point 18 to Point 27
