The new version of application form for Government jobs G.F. 340 (Rev.7/2023) has been in use with effect from 26 July 2023. Candidates who apply for Government jobs advertised on or after 26 July 2023 should use the new G.F.340 (Rev.7/2023). If candidates submit the old version form G.F.340 (Rev.3/2013), they will be required to fill in the new G.F.340 (Rev.7/2023) afresh and submit it within seven days upon request. If candidates fail to submit the new G.F.340 (Rev.7/2023) within the stipulated deadline, their applications will not be processed further. A new recruit will normally be appointed on civil service probationary terms. The period of probation is three years or the time taken for the officer to complete and pass the first departmental Specialized Rating Training course and obtain the associated Air Traffic Control rating, and be proficient to perform the duties of the rating independently, whichever is the later and subject to a maximum period of five years. Upon passage of probation bar, the officer may be considered for appointment on the prevailing permanent terms. |

Terms of Appointment: | Successful candidate will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms for 12 months. Renewal of contract will be subject to the service need of the department and the performance and conduct of the candidate. |
Fringe Benefits: | An end-of-contract gratuity may be granted if the contract is completed with satisfactory performance and conduct.
